• Now’s the Time, Stand for the 2nd Amendment

“I’m running to defend our Constitutional rights, but I need your help.

Your personal donation of up to $200 will send a strong message to Colorado Senate President John Morse, Mayor Bloomberg, and liberal politicians across America that we will no longer let our rights be trampled.

Thank you for joining me and a growing list of respected leaders below by donating to our campaign today.”

    - Bernie Herpin

2nd Amendment Letter – Paul Paradis

    To Second Amendment Supporters:

By recalling Colorado Senate President John Morse, we’ll draw a line in the sand that no liberal politician will dare to cross.

That’s why I’m glad to tell you we have a true Constitutional conservative to stand up to Michael Bloomberg’s errand boy in Colorado’s recall election.

Today the Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition PAC is proud to announce we are endorsing retired Naval and Air Force officer, Bernie Herpin, to defeat John Morse’s anti-freedom agenda.PaulBernieatShop

In the Navy and Air Force, Bernie took an oath to defend our Constitutional rights.

Not only has Bernie lived up to that oath by serving our nation; he helped found the Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition and served as our past president.

Bernie’s the only candidate running with a proven record of defending the Second Amendment.

He’s been in the trenches defending our Constitutional rights for decades.

He’s a man of commitment. He’s been committed to Linda for over 48 years.BernieLindaEmailPic

Now’s the time we stand alongside him and say our rights “shall not be infringed!”

So many of you have already stepped up and I’m grateful for it.

But Colorado law allows gun grabber, John Morse, to raise unlimited contributions to defeat his recall, but restricts Bernie to only $200 per person.

I know it’s not fair, but that’s the law.

So good news… the most you have to give is $200 per person.

That’s a small price to pay to protect your rights.

While we will be outspent in this fight, we will win.

    Momentum’s building.

More people signed the petition to recall John Morse than voted for Morse in the last election.

But what we can’t do is be outspent 10 to 1 and still win.

That’s why your donation matters more today than it will later.

There is only a little time left before the first fundraising deadline this coming Sunday, June 30 at midnight.

As we face this week’s fundraising deadline, can you make a donation of up to $200 to defend our rights?

Will you agree to stand with Bernie Herpin today?

If so, I promise you that we will do everything in our power to defeat John Morse and his anti-freedom agenda.

    Sincerely,

    Paul Paradis
    Owner, Paradise Firearms Sales
    President, Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition

P.S. We’re not the only ones standing with Bernie Herpin. Please join all of these local and state leaders who already stepped up to defend our Constitutional rights by backing Bernie Herpin. Now you can do the same by donating up to $200 today to defend our rights.

  • Morse Camp Intimidates Recall Backers

Retired Navy & Air Force officer Bernie Herpin calls on Morse to stop harassing his constituents and embrace the democratic process

Early Saturday voters in Senate District 11 started getting harassing calls from backers of embattled Senate President John Morse asking them to if they would like to remove their name from the Morse Recall Petition.

“This is yet another example of the John Morse camp is showing a blatant disregard for the citizens of Senate District 11,” declared Bernie Herpin.

“It becomes clearer by the day that John Morse must be replaced with someone who has spent their life defending the Constitution.”

“I’m calling on John Morse to stop the intimidation of his constituents and embrace the democratic process,” concluded Herpin.

Numerous people who received the calls contacted Herpin so he could get the word out.

“I said heck no I wasn’t going to have my name removed… I wish I could sign it 6 more times,” said Mark Finley of Colorado Springs who received a call.

“I asked if he was being paid and he said he was,” continued Finley.

Retired police officer, Dan Myers commented, “I thought the call was fishy so I asked him what his name was and he said Jeremy. Then I asked his last name. He said Jeremy again. So I said your name’s Jeremy Jeremy? He said ‘yes’. It sounded like he was a paid caller so I asked if he was. He said yes. I asked how much. He said “enough.” At that point the call was basically over.”

Construction company owner Ron Holladay said, “After trying to convince me to change my mind about signing the John Morse recall petition, I asked if they were being paid by the Morse campaign. They refused to answer the question and hung up.”

Recall Petition Signers got the call from the number (719) 218-9501. When a call is placed to the number, the caller simply gets the sound of a fax machine.

  • “My Dad. I’m so proud of him.” – Nikki Herpin Lindquist

My Dad. I’m so proud of him. To me, politics looks like a job that no matter how hard you try, someone’s always mad at you. And, it doesn’t pay well. I know my Dad is one who really listens to the will of the people.

Although I am biased, I can also look objectively at the man my Father is. For those of you who have known my Dad for awhile, you know of his continued dedication to our great city through his years of volunteering. Way before he was involved in politics, my Dad gave countless hours of his time without recognition. He always gives without expecting anything in return.

I have watched him, over the almost forty years of my life, give of himself to such organizations as MADD, CSPD, SVAT (Senior Victim Assistance Team,) Girl Scouts, Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Judicial Advisory Board, Airport Commission, Friends of the NRA, Submarine Vets and I’m sure there’s others that I have forgotten.

He did all this while working full-time and raising three girls with my mom. My parents have been married for almost 50 years, and I’m sure most of you can agree that staying happily married for 50 years shows the kind of character both my parents have.

I don’t know if I’ll ever understand my Dad’s willingness to serve so much, but all I can say is that is the kind of person he is.

It really upsets me when I see comments written about my Dad that just aren’t true.

But my Dad is a man who leads on his principles, not based on what others think.

My Dad has instilled in me the importance of the Constitution and the second amendment.

To me, the second amendment isn’t just about owning guns, it’s about our freedom to have them if we want them. What the left doesn’t seem to understand about owning guns is that it was put in the Constitution to protect the people from the government. A government that fears its people equals liberty.

The government has slowly and steadily removed our freedoms to where some people may have not even noticed they have been taken away.

To those who don’t care about their second amendment rights, like most liberals, it is your decision whether or not you want to own a gun. Just because you don’t want to own a gun, doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t.

I thank God that the people have stood up against John Morse and the Democrats and said, “Enough is enough.” What better person to stand up against the Democrats than someone who is so well-known for helping to keep our Constitutional rights alive?

    I can’t think of a better man.

Those of you who don’t know my Dad on a personal level, perhaps you should talk to him. After all, aren’t Democrats supposed to be the tolerant, non-judgemental ones? Just sayin!

    Go Bernie Herpin!
